By training shelter dogs as EU qualified
service dogs and pairing them with disabled veterans, S2S addresses Europe's abandoned companion pet problem and the effects of mental and physical disabilities.

Worldwide qualified, top of the line training program, sourcing quality dogs to police, military, customs and border protection authorities.

Additionally performs training for special associations, with dog-carrying organizations such as in the rescue service, alpine rescue services and with companies in the field of safety and environmental protection or biotope management.

Helfer auf Pfoten

An Austrian based partner non-profit organization whose goal is to support people with disabilities in purchasing, training and maintaining assistance dogs.

Helfer auf Pfoten accompanies the disabled member every step of the way through the process - from information discussions to training and financing through to aftercare.

Shelter2Service Founder / CEO

A successful author and distinguished 30-year military career with 7 combat tours in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Balkans.

Florian Schneider

Co-founder, KynoTec GmbH, Certified Dog Trainer.

Active in dogs since 2010, professional dog trainer since 2016.

Andreas Schmidauer

Founder & Chair, Helfer auf Pfoten, Certified Dog Trainer

My parents laid the foundation for my enthusiasm for dogs. From my earliest memory we had a dog in our household and, at the age of 14, I got my first own German Shepherd, which I trained in the protection service.

As an adult, I turned my passion into my profession and founded "The Little Dog School".

From the very beginning, a focus of my work was the training of assistance dogs and their humans and I soon obtained certification as an animal welfare-qualified dog trainer at the Messerli Research Institute of VetMed Vienna.

My commitment to assistance dog training led to the founding of the "Helfer auf Pfoten" association in 2022.

In addition to my various professional dog training activities, my private dogs and I have also been involved in the volunteer Salzburg avalanche dog squad for years.
