One Mission,

Two Lives Saved.

In Europe, there are over 100,000 U.S. Veterans, and ~1,000,000 Allied Veterans who fought alongside the U.S. in Iraq and Afghanistan over the past 20+ years.  Many of them with combat related disabilities.

Army veteran Jacob Burns simulates having a panic attack as he works with Jersey, his new support dog, as part of a training session together Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, in Collinsville, Ill. The non-profit Got Your Six Support Dogs provides the specially trained service dogs at no charge to veterans like Burns who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder. After spending about a week getting to know each other, the Burns will return home with his new companion to help combat the issues associated with PTSD. (AP Photo/Jeff Roberson)

Service dogs have proven highly successful at assisting disabled veterans in America. Disappointingly, that benefit has not reached European-based brothers and sisters in arms.

The EU estimates there are ~100.000.000 abandoned companion animals in Europe.*

Shelter2Service is answering the call of those who fought for our freedom.

By training shelter dogs as EU qualified service dogs and pairing them with disabled veterans, S2S addresses Europe’s abandoned companion pet problem and the effects of mental and physical disabilities.
